June proved to be an especially busy month for the Whitefield Lions Club!
On June 3rd, we teamed up with Dr. Laurie Howarth of Medomak Veterinary Services to offer a low cost rabies clinic for cats & dogs. 42 cats and dogs were immunized in ONE HOUR against rabies! Thanks to everyone that worked the event and to the community members that brought their pets to see us!

Also on June 3rd, we provided food & refreshments for "Hooked on Fishin" which was held at Damariscotta Lake State Park. The event, sponsored by Midcoast Conservancy, gave kids ages 5-15 the opportunity to enjoy a free day of fishing on the lake.

On June 24th we held our annual yard sale at the Brooks Farms in Jefferson. We were caught in quick downpour, but the rest of the day remained dry. We even had a special visitor join us, Groot the pig!
